Shred cleaned cabbage, mix with half of salt. Cream by hands, press, put in a jar. Pour with cooled marinade. Tie the jar with parchment paper and keep in dry cold place.
To prepare the marinade, pour fruit vinegar in clean pan, add water, salt, sugar, pepper and bay leaf. Bring to boil, then cool.
